A number of people have been echoing a sentiment that Pakistanis around the world over must join hands in the form of a peaceful protest to condemn this mockery of our judicial system. We would like to categorically state that this protest WILL NOT carry any type of political affiliation, and will remain impartial as to who is right or wrong but we would like join hands to protest the way bureaucrats have destroyed the integrity of our judicial system.

A campaign of this magnitude must genuinely be a combined effort and cannot and should not be an individual effort, so I issue out a call to everyone willing to join us in this peaceful protest, if you are willing then please step forward.

The title of the campaign is

WHITE BAND FOR JUSTICE

……….powered by Proud Pakistanis

We choose to use the White Band, as it signifies purity and justice while the latter part of the slogan is essential as it evokes national pride and patriotism, a core value which has for sometime disappeared from the emotions of all Pakistanis. Its time to bring Patriotism back into Pakistanis.

To join this cause all you need to do is be proud to be a Pakistani.

A few things that need to be done (the list will remain constantly updated so check back often)

  • The domain name Proud-Pakistani.com is ready and available to become the hub of our activity
  • We need to design a few White ribbons, that can be used on websites and other places
  • We need to design the website at Proud-Pakistani.com
  • We need to organize the list of volunteers and assign them tasks
  • We need to start promoting the concept online as widely as possible
  • We need to plan an online protest date where everyone can display this White Band to support the integrity of the Judicial System in Pakistan
  • We need to also start a mailing list once things get rolling until then you can drop me an email at drawab@gmail.com

Is that too much to ask from a Pakistani. Step forward and help the cause, this blog shall always remain

Welcome to White Bank Justice Movement

Its a movement against the oppressor, against tyrant & in this case the President of Pakistan who using his dictatorial tactics unconstitutionally removed Chief Justice of Pakistan.

The stage was set a month ago with widely circulated letter by one Mr. Naeem Bukhari who has accused the CJ of misconduct. This paper was circulated widely in order to create a ground. Then on March 09,2007 the dictator first ordered the removal & then suspended the CJ on the basis of this letter.

In a country where the Generals along with its notorious ISI & corrupt bureaucracy & wadera’s were eating this country for 60 years this one letter & the prompt response clearly suggested a big game behind the scene.

Lets understand the big game fellows

The current CJ is the first man in the history who was getting popular among nation by his good deed, honesty & efficiency and was proving to be a nightmare to all the previously mentioned power players.

The way he took sou motto action , the poor man had started to feel a ray of hope for the firs time in our nations history. The way bold decisions were taken recently against the gov. it was evident the dictator wanted him out by hook or crook so after failing to see any legal method they decide to play a game.

So Mr. Naeem Bukhari became the villain along with Musharraf , staging the letter drama. Its interesting to note that even if he was to be removed the next CJ should have been CJ Bhagwadas but citing one of the most stupid of reasons every that he is out of country they not only flew the junior judges to Islamabad but completed the formalities within hours. In the meanwhile the Chief Justice who had been called to the ARMY house was kept under siege or hostage as you may call it for 5 hours so all this drama could proceed smoothly.

Dear fellows , this is indeed one of the darkest of times in history & indeed demands the sensible to voice against it.

DEMANDS OF THE WHITE BAND PROTEST

So. As a common citizen, I protest. The demands of the protest are:

*****
1. Tell us - the people of Pakistan - the truth about the Chief Justice.
2. Take people into confidence; the government must address the nation via TV, radio, print, Internet.
3. Give fair hearing to the Chief Justice.
4. Give credit to the fact he reduced the number of cases in hearing from 36,000 to 10,000.
5. Give credit that he took suo moto action not to have the pleasure of give pains to the lawyers and the police, but to give justice to the common citizen.
6. Give credit to Justice Iftikhar for taking tough decisions on such cases as the privatization of Pakistan Steel Mills, the inquiry in to the Karachi Stock Exchange crash, and report on missing persons, among others.
7. Give credit to Justice Iftikhar for being civil-minded, and caring for such things as: murder of people during basant; rights and respect of women; commercialization of public spaces; prisoner rights; and dubious development projects, among others.
8. Stop taking the people of Pakistan for granted. We are a party - a very large and vocal party - to important decisions taken in Pakistan. Respect our opinions and sentiments. Do not aggrieve us by consistently shocking us with one autocratic decision after another.
*****

Before the decision of the Supreme Judicial Council of Pakistan comes on March 13th, the harm done by the high-handedness of this shock decision must be minimized by taking people into confidence.

We respect the courts of Pakistan. Above that, we respect the people for whom the courts are made.

Even the media in this case is not fulfilling its role. It is quite clear that they are on the Government’s side.

This is a defining moment for the entire civil society. History is being written as never before. We all have choice now to confront this thuggery by Mush or forever be condemned to mourn this tragic moment!!!

I was just watching the ARY-ONE channel where Mr. Aitzaz Ahsan was invited to a talk with our information minister Mr. Muhammad Ali Durrani. Its sad to say but even after several clear cut proofs put forward by the former, Mr. Durrani was adament that the government has not confined the CJ from the public. What more to say, when even the CJ’s lawyer was not allowed to see him to prepare the case.
I guess its high time that we as public should start taking these sensitive issues personally and raise our voice against them. Unless we stand for someone today, we should least expect someone else to stand for us tomorrow, and rest assured, the way things are moving in Pakistan, that tomorrow can be any today.

this refers to the judicial reference agst mr.c. justise and comments shared by the readers and its shameful on part of those who are trying to
justified wrong deeds of mr. justice by saying that other people are commiting crimes why cannot mr.justice? highest judicial office if involved in such activities how common men can expects justice? if other commits wrong
things/crimes it does not give licence to other people to commit crimes? if our minister does something wrong and viewers who shared views why
they have pointed out the same to right authorities at that time and why they wants to justify agst this reference? if you know the
respect of judicials let the law takes its course
instead justifing wrong things agst wrong things.

Salute to Chief Justice
By Dr. Anwar Ul Haque

We salute Chief Justice on his courage
On his upright stand in this time and age
For his protection of human rights
And countless anti tyrant fights
He has shown us the light
No to budge to the rotten rats
Not to give up and surrender but to fight
Enemies of Humanity with all might

Their I.Q. is minus 80 Fahrenheit
Drunk and insult woman all the time
Can’t think of any thing better than bloody kite
Real terrorists with no respect for human right

We have seen their enlightened moderation
Crimes against humanity with no civilization
These are shadows of darkness and terrorism
True meaning of SAM; Sub-Animal Materialism

Defeat is their destination all over the world
Truth has come and the falsehood is to end
Deception, dishonesty and charade must depart
Light of Islam will brighten the entire World

None…

None…

Free Judiciary & Restore the Judges in Pakistan
Allah All Mighty Himself is the Most Just and He will judge the people on absolute and transparent Justice with all requirements and evidences of the Justice. He had created the entire Universe and all creatures on absolute truth and justice. There is a perfect balance which requires us to establish the weight with justice. He has ordered us to not to transgress justice i.e. not to commit injustices. Therefore human civilization is characterized by justice.
On November 3rd 2007, Bush’s puppet Mush created world record which must go in Guinness World Records as he arrested 60 Judges and took entire judiciary hostage. Never in the human history had such ugly incidence happened before! The Supreme Court was listening petitions against Pervaiz Musharraf which challenged his eligibility to run for the office of President while in active Government office and his attempt to get elected from dying assemblies with no fresh mandate of 160 million Pakistanis, when Musharraf with full backing of Bush and abusing his powers and authority attacked the Supreme Court, High Courts and took both judiciary and all those judges who didn’t agree with him hostage. He was sure that Supreme Court’s decision will not be in his favor and therefore instead of abiding by law he committed the worst possible crime and contempt against judiciary, court, and peoples’ right to seek justice
We the undersigned request the Government of Pakistan to liberate judiciary from being hostage and bring back the status of the judiciary to November 2, 2007 status. We request all peace and justice loving people of the world to support our struggle to establish justice, peace and most fundamental human rights. All those who cooperated with the unconstitutional and unlawful acts of Musharraf may that be Bush Government or others who sold out themselves and grabbed the opportunity to get worldly benefits must also be duly punished for assisting in crime against humanity. The lawlessness breeds to more lawlessness and violence. Hence in order to bring peace and establishment of justice if you agree with this petition, please sign and submit. Insha Allah your support to establish justice will go a long way to help world humanity and may Allah All Mighty reward you in both worlds for your noble support. You may also sign the petition at:
